Founded in 2015, the purpose of SCSA is to unite the students of the School Counseling M.S. program at California State University, Long Beach in a way that will foster and encourage an open dialogue between members. Through membership in this association, students benefit from the following: discussion about relevant issues in the profession, opportunities for mentorship, leadership, professional development, and networking opportunities.
